　　书生张君瑞（吴卓羲 饰）和相府千金崔莺莺（叶璇 饰）的丫鬟红娘（胡杏儿 饰）在元宵灯会上分别捡到半边鸳鸯扣，可惜有情人一直不知。而张君瑞在灯会上展示的过人文才倾倒了崔莺莺，红娘亦对他颇有好感。随后一次偶然机会，君瑞碰上贼人意图掳走崔莺莺，舍命相救终于保存了莺莺的名节，崔相国应承了讲莺莺许配给君瑞。岂料相国夫人看不起君瑞的出身，坚持要君瑞考取功名后方可迎娶莺莺，于是，君瑞住进了西厢，努力读书等待考期来临。
　　另一方面，当今皇帝唐德宗化妆成富家公子王文彬四周游玩，碰见恶劣崔莺莺，为她的美貌倾倒，于是想尽办法接近莺莺，并想方设法逗她开心。莺莺开始觉得王文彬十分无聊，但通过接触渐渐喜欢上了他。红娘在和君瑞接触中亦渐渐喜欢上了他，这一段四角恋爱最终能否皆大欢喜？

　　女演员桐谷美玲日前确定将主演富士电视台与美国Netflix合作的第一部原创剧《Underwear》，该剧将由秋季起在日本国内、世界50个国家和地区同步播放。
　　该剧讲述了大学时代研究纤维布料的宅女在东京银座的高级内衣制造商就职后逐渐成长的的故事。富士电视台方面的制作人关口大辅表示启用桐谷美玲的原因为是她能够表现出日本现代女性的飒爽之美，同时能够很好地演绎出成长过程中的苦恼。
