故事聚焦住在英国伦敦考文特花园的一对老同志弗雷迪（伊安·麦克莱恩 Ian McKellen 饰）和斯图尔特（德里克·雅各比 Derek Jacobi 饰），两人同居48年后斯图尔特仍然跟母亲报备说是室友关系。他们相遇的时候弗雷迪是新晋演员，斯图尔特是酒吧男侍。如今两人都开始领退休金了，遛狗读报看帅哥、床头吵架床尾和的夕阳生活仍然异常精彩。 　　英国ITV台推出的最新同志情景喜剧《极品基老伴》由两位托尼奖得主主演，经典喜剧《威尔与格蕾丝》和著名动画《恶搞之家》的编剧和幕后执行制片人操刀，讲述一对同志老伴的毒舌人生，未播出即备受瞩目。两位主演作为已公开出柜的英国老戏骨，参演影视作品和舞台剧无数，他们的默契和互动构成本剧最大的看点。

该剧是一部以严肃的朝鲜时代为背景的无厘头性感搞笑古装剧。讲述生活在现代的男人“奉焕”的灵魂穿越到朝鲜的王宫，而且是穿进王后的身体里之后引发的故事。由《花郎》尹成植导演执导，《感激时代》《Dr.Prisoner》朴继玉编剧执笔。

Netflix宣布，《纸牌屋》第六季将于2018年正式恢复拍摄。罗宾·怀特继续主演，应该就是主要聚焦于克莱尔这个角色了。不会有凯文·史派西，但是他饰演的下木总统如何处理还不得而知。跟以往每季13集的长度不同，第六季将缩短为只有8集。第六季也是这部Netflix旗舰剧的最终季了，具体回归日期待定。
